TO MY SISTERS
The video is unknowingly the story of a younger untouched lady, restoring the heart of a goddess whose heart had been stolen and trashed.
To you my older sister, you see this is the mission of life’s attacks and the things you’ve been through; those who have tarnished your reputation, those who have betrayed your trust, those who have pointed accusatory fingers at you, those who needlessly sacked you from a job wherein which you were devoted and consequently productive. You remember the rape? The heartbreak? The divorce? The abandonment? The abortions for he who refused to accept responsibility? You remember the loved ones who didn’t return your love? You remember the miscarriages? Can it all just stop? The volcanic, angry, fire-spitting, unapproachable female in this video is what these things seek to convert you to. “This is not who you are….”
Every day is a temptation to become a nasty, belligerent, aggressive, dart hurling vixen. This is not who you are
Every day is another day you meet a situation that threatens to “flip your bitch switch”. This is not who you are
Every day is another day someone adds insults to your already plenty injuries and every cell in your body wants to overcome evil WITH EVIL. This is not who you are
Remember, you’re a princess, a queen, a daughter of The Most High God, an heir of The King of all kings. You are cherished, you’re loved, you’re not abandoned, you’re heavily heavenly guarded. No weapon customized for you will be able to prosper. Your heart is restored and your womanhood is retained in Jesus name. Amen
To you my younger sister, when you see a nasty, bitter and angry woman, don’t be quick to label her. Don’t be quick to judge her. Don’t be quick to castigate her. You don’t know her story, even though inexcusable for bad behavior. You may gossip about her and mock her madness and use the infamous words of the female folk “that’s why she ain’t got a man!” but I admonish you; “live a little longer…you will understand”. If you will do right, should you have the chance to come close and be presented with a vulnerable moment with her, minister to her WITH WISDOM. This is true sisterhood. Therein is your own calling expressed for the greater good. Allow your innocence and purity to convert her. Every little girl, regardless of her background, had a princess diary and a queen’s dream whether penned down in journals and notebooks or inscribed on the pages of her heart.
As women, we need to stop our gang-banging codes, stop our incessant demands for group loyalty and exclusivity, stop the organized cultish styles and truly heal individually and collectively; stop the exaggerated feminism and embrace true femininity by God, in God, for God.
This IS who we are, the handmaidens of The Lord!
